We Provide Two Unique Shopping Experiences
RMRC provides two unique shopping experiences. In our thrift store you can find a large array of items including furniture, toys, housewares, books, electronics, and so much more! Our boutique presents all the clothing and fashion items that one may need. These items include mens, womens, and kids clothing and shoes as well as jewelry and accessories. The boutique also holds micro-enterprising items that are handmade by participants! Some of these items include pot holders, hair ties, key chains, and an assortment of crafts made in our Day Habilitation program.
Our Process
RMRC is able to provide this enjoyable and tidy shopping experience through the work of our participants that have intellectual disabilities as well as our eager staff members. This process is two-fold. First, the participants of the RMRC job training programs sort the donations from the community with the aid of their job coaches, and then help organize them into categories for sale. Second, these individuals, along with the friendly sales associates, put items out for sale, and continually watch for places in need of organization.
Become a Volunteer
There are many ways to get involved at RMRC! Individuals, groups, and organizations can support RMRC by donating to the store, volunteering, or simply trying to shop at Ruby Mountain Stores before moving on to department stores. In any case, we are always appreciative of the community support that we receive
